Description

Purple Widow can be a great choice for patients who haven't smoked marijuana before. CBD levels, however, are typically very low, less than 1%, meaning this isn't a good strain for patients looking to treat seizure disorders. But it is good at treating several other conditions, including anxiety, depression, lack of appetite, and migraine headaches. This strain is a descendant of Purple Power and the legendary White Widow. An indica-dominant hybrid, it has a sativa/indica ratio of 45:55 and delivers a calming, relaxing body buzz that, while not terribly strong, is enjoyable and effective. Purple Widow has a sweet, fruity aroma and flavor, with specific hints of berry. Like other Purps strains, this one has a deep blue/purple appearance. Adverse effects may include dry mouth and dry eyes, though there's little information on that front. Purple Widow can be found at medical marijuana dispensaries in Washington and Oregon, but it isn't very common there or elsewhere in the United States.
